Not So Famous…

I think this is the crucial question on which Conservatives and Liberals differ.  And we can easily see the answer to the question when we look at it through the lens of the Word of God.

Mark Foley is disgusting, and what he did with regards to the sexual e-mails and IM’s to the 16 year old page is completely evil. But what does the left think about all this?  Their problem doesn’t appear to be with Foley.  For example, Hillary Clinton has said that she doesn’t want a certain person to investigate the Page Program or Foley’s nastiness.  She wants them to focus on Denny Hastert, and the “Republican Cover Up”.  What???  What is the focus here?  Protecting children from nasty congressmen?  Nope.  That is NOT the focus of the left.

The left is focused on winning back the House.  Foley is gone, and the left will likely win that seat.  It’s almost guaranteed.  However, Hastert is going to re-run, but if the left can get him to resign or fail in his campaign, then that’s another seat.  The left is NOT concerned about your children in the least.

Why not?  Why would any decent human being not be concerned about predators?  The left is very closely aligned with the gay lobby, and the gay lobby is not concerned about it.  Not once in this whole thing has the left complained about the fact that Foley is a gay man preying on minors.  The left is working tirelessly to lower the age of consent…this is right up their alley.  But they’ll back anything that will get them back the House.  So their actions must be observed closely.  Don’t be distracted by their sleight of hand.  Keep your eye on their other hand…the one that they’re not quite putting behind their back.  Look at what they’re really reaching for.  When Mrs. Clinton says she doesn’t want the investigation into Foley and the Page Program to happen, why not?  What does she want to happen instead?  She has stated that she wants to focus on the ethics committee.  What will the ethics committee be looking at?  Hastert and the supposed “Republican Cover Up”.

Why not both??  Why not do both investigations?  If Hastert covered up Foley’s nastiness, then I want him out too.  If any of the staffers of any of the Representatives’ offices helped in the cover-up, I want them out too.  But if there is anything that can be done to protect these minors coming into the Page Program, I want that done, and fast.  I want it done because I have no confidence in our elected politicians.  Every day, more of them prove themselves to be immoral scum on both sides of the political line, and if we can’t verify that our minors are safe in that program, then I say close it down.

Hastert’s little “Tip Line” thing is bull, by the way.  If he thinks that giving out a line for tips is how we can fix this, he’s full of it.  (And it would probably help if he gave out a number that wasn’t a fax or modem line.  I don’t know this for sure, but I doubt many of the tipsters will be able to speak analog binary.  I’m a geek, and I know *I* can’t.)

Who is the villain?  Foley!  How can we ensure this crap doesn’t happen again?  Investigate what needs investigating.  Let’s protect our kids.  To me, that comes first.  But then again, I’m not in bed with the gay lobby, as the left is.  That will never become their focus.

(Note: Some of you reading this MIGHT recognize many of these sentiments from the Michael Savage show, “Savage Nation”.  I occasionally listen to him, and I agree with much of what he says.  I’ve tried not to lift anything verbatim from his show, but I may have come close…especially with the goals of the left in trying to lower the age of consent.  I’m not stealing from Michael Savage, I just agree with him on this.  I definitely DO NOT agree with his views on religion.  I hope the Lord softens his heart, but I definitely don’t agree with him on religion, even if he DOES quote the Bible.)
